Normalize by Prescription Count

Written by Eogan McCullen

The "Normalize by Prescription Count" chart shows the "Incidents rate per 1000 prescriptions". Once inputting the total number of prescriptions for the previous 6 months this figure is then divided by the total number of events which were recorded for a given time period. In the case whereby no prescriptions were inputted an assumption is made that 6000 prescriptions were dispensed over a 6 month figure. This figure would then be used to identify the incident rate.

Within this section, you can compare your organisation versus the provincial averages.
